Nice idea.
A sad story for you - Sunday when Mike turned away for just a second, Rocky made a surprise jump onto the stove to a hot electric burner. He jumped down quickly and ran. Mike put him in the shower with a still cool wet floor, then rushed him to the emergency vet. They said his pads were red but not blistered and that he should be fine. He still limps some and holds his right foot up when he sits, and yet he still wants to jump and play. It really scared us so much. He is getting lots of love and attention!

@B. Thomas: Oh no, that must have been painful for Rocky! It's a good sign he wants to jump and play, sounds like his paws are going to be fine soon. My boys want to jump on the stove all the time when I cook, so when I finish I always put a pot(s) of cold water on the stove to cool the burner(s) faster. You might want to try that too...
