Day 210 of the 365+1 days of their lives project.

Today I jumped on a bus and traveled to Viitasaari to meet Pepsi and Max, and their people. Viitasaari is a beautiful little city far away from home.

Beautiful cat is it not allowed to run free?

30 Jul 2016 10:57pm

@Philnz: He is really beautiful. Here in Finland we have very strict law about cats, the law restricts cats from going to certain places such like kids' playgrounds, sporting grounds, at the market hours to market squares etc, and also that law forbids one to abandon their cat. Not only for the legal reasons, but also for the cat's safety more and more cats are not allowed to roam free anymore. Max is one of those cats who live a perfectly happy life as a cat who only goes out with his people or into his little outdoor cage. Cats are small beasts that don't belong in Finnish nature and they can do harm to local birds and little mammals. Cats don't need to be let out alone, they can live perfectly happy lifes indoors if their people love them, feed them, give them fresh water to drink and play with them every day. Indoor cat is a cat who lives safe and happy life.
