It shows an old industrial history of Turku. Cranes were before the shipyard where the ships are built. Before World War II were built including five submarines of the Finnish Navy.

Hi Ursulakatariina :-) first please allow me to apologize for being absent so long....work life has bee crazy but I do wish to thank you Very Much for all your kind comments to me. Second, please allow me to wish Pena avery happy birthday and I hope he enjoys the frozen mice which scared my wife Barbara half to death when I read her your story Ha Ha....And finally, I have always wanted to visit Finland ever since i worked for Ahlstrom and they had an office in San Diego, California, USA....but I never made it to Finland,,,besides you I still have a few friends there....Anyway sorry for the long message but i do want you to know how much I really appreciate your kindness and images <3 :-)
