I think he wasn't feeling cold - cats have their ways of telling when it's too cold to go out. :)

@Patrick M.: It wasn't too cold for him on that day. He has his ways of telling when it's too cold/wet/hot to go out and he never goes out without me or another people so there is always someone taking care of him when he gets out.
