Yesterday we had a beautiful day, the sun was seen and the weather was much more warm than usually this time of the year.

Nice to see you! I hope you enjoy seeing what I saw earlier.

I got a colour spotlight, see it here.

Please read this.

Jypyä Pop from Turku, Finland

This has been an incredible winter. Yesterday, the sun would flash in Turku. I think I recognize it by the house.

@Jypyä Pop: Yeah, the weather is all messed up - now they say it can get up to +8°C around here today! Usually, if I remember correctly, in this time of the year there is still freezing temperatures and loads of snow on the ground...

Devi from Chennai, India

Beautiful image with the lovely sky, buildings and reflections :)

@Devi: Thank you very much!

Jypyä Pop from Turku, Finland

Yes, you remember correctly. During the last couple winter is ice and snow was still in April. No, this situation very strange. The front may still be back in winter, the consequences of which can not be guessed at.

@Jypyä Pop: That's what I thought...

Jeff & Pat from Pembroke Dock, United Kingdom

It's the same in the UK, but we've had continual gales and torrential rain and at the moment its strangely mild, makes you wonder what's next...What are the people in gray suits not telling us ???. ;>)

@Jeff & Pat: We are living very weird times... Those people in gray suits are scary! :)

Ruthiebear from Titusville, NJ, United States

One of your most beautiful images. I love the clear light and the lovely reflections

@Ruthiebear: Thank you very much.

The Mouse from Glasgow, United Kingdom

Nice to see blue sky, and an assortment of different height buildings looks different

24 Feb 2014 7:43pm

@The Mouse: The blue sky yesterday and today was the greatest thing I've seen for a loooong time. :)
None of the houses here are very tall and I think most of the houses close to the city center are old wooden houses, so this is quite different to where I have lived before. :)

Judy aka L@dybug from Brooksville, FL, United States

A lovely shot across the river for "The Place Where [you] Live."
I will send you more of our Florida sunshine. ;D
