We have had constant stormy winds during the Christmas and the Christmas tree in the town park lost the fight with the winds...

Nice to see you! I hope you enjoy seeing what I saw earlier.
Please, leave a comment so I know you have been here.

I got a colour spotlight, see it here.

Please read this.

Jypyä Pop from Turku, Finland

There are many things that this Christmas will be remembered. This is one of them. The second is the darkness, which is continued even how long.

@Jypyä Pop: Yeah, I think this will be remembered for quite long time. And also the darkness, it's incredible how dark it has been lately, it's like an evening all day long... I so wish the snow will still come and lighten the place up a little...

Oiva from Turku, Finland

A great shot, too bad that the storm brought down the tree!:-))Haleja.

Happy Sunday for both of you!

@Oiva: Thanks. It's not the only tree down here, it's quite amazing how much few days of wind changes some views.

Devi from Chennai, India

Aw! Ho sad the fallen tree looks!!! Can see the breaking point in the closeup in the inset. Hope there wasn't much damage.

29 Dec 2013 10:24am

@Devi: It looks quite lonely and sad lying there... It seems there is no further damage due to this tree fall, but don't know how much damage there has been on the roads during the winter as there have been quite many trees falling to the streets too.

The Mouse from Glasgow, United Kingdom

What a shame, but it truly has been a stormy wet winter, hope the snow comes soon to brighten Northern Europe up.

30 Dec 2013 12:26pm

@The Mouse: I sure hope the snow comes soon too! I would understand all this rain if I was still in Scotland or Ireland but here it's just not normal to rain week after week... :)
