Autumn on the beach

Posted by
ursulakatariina (Ed, Sweden) on 2 December 2013 in Landscape & Rural.

It was one cool morning couple of months ago when Lilla Le looked like this.

During the late summer and the autumn I have taken some photos with my dad's old Ilford Sportsman. I just got the first pile of photos back from the photo lab on paper and on a CD, some of them quite good, some not so good.
Now I'm going to make you all watch some of these photos, not much editing done, some may have a little colour correction and straightening done, but that's it. :)
I think that Ilford is quite nice tool to have.

Nice to see you! I hope you enjoy seeing what I saw earlier.
Please, leave a comment so I know you have been here.

I got a colour spotlight, see it here.

Please read this.

Quiet look. I especially like the colors. They are somehow warmer than these digital images. I guess I will start to become familiar with the hobby with a vengeance.

@Jypyä Pop: I like the colours too, I rarely get as good colours out of the digital thing ...

If your Dad is looking at these shots he's a very proud man, your doing his old sportsman proud..What film are you using by the way. ???. ;>)

2 Dec 2013 3:50pm

@Jeff: Jypyä Pop who is always the first to comment in the morning is my dad...
I went for the cheapest I found from Amazon (no film sold in this town...), it is Fuji Superia X-TRA 400 asa and seems to be quite good. I would love to use black and white film but so far I haven't found a lab in Sweden that does black and white developing via post orders.
