I was a bit bored yesterday evening so I ended up playing with all kinds of tools in TheGimp...

The light is a bit harsh on the left, but it is a little project that will help teach you a lot. Try making use of a roll of white backing paper (wallpaper) and letting the subject sit further away from the background, it is a good cheap way of making a home studio.

@Curly: The light on the left is what I wanted, I wanted to hear what people say about it. :)
I prefer using a white (or what ever colour I happen to have) paper bag as a home studio - it's very easy to set up! And cheap too. :)
