Salmon Leap Inn

Posted by
ursulakatariina (Ed, Sweden) on 18 August 2012 in Business & Industry.

I don't know if it's even open anymore, but it looks like a great place to have fun.
Wikipedia tells this about Salmon Leap Inn:
Richard Guinness, co-owner with his brother Arthur of the brewery business in Leixlip, lived on Main St., and was the landlord of the Salmon Leap Inn.
Leixlip's main attraction in the past was the Salmon Leap, from which the town is named, a 5 metre waterfall on the Liffey just upstream from the then village. This was a popular place for Dubliners wanting a day out in the country, and the Salmon Leap Inn was built to refresh them.

Hopefully someone daring to open it again!:-))Haleja.

Happy sun day for both of you!

ps. mennään tänään Yö konserttiin ja ens perjantaina Hectorin ja Donovanin konserttiin!

@Oiva: It's not located in the best of places, so I think not so many people would go there. Not really good location to go by foot or by car.

Happy day to you too!

Enjoy the gig today - I would love to see YÖ again after all these years...
