Nice to see you! I hope you enjoy seeing what I saw earlier.
Please, leave a comment so I know you have been here.

I got a colour spotlight, see it here.

Please read this.

Jypyä Pop from Turku, Finland

After all, it seems, brings spring in fact, keep a little busy. I guess it then comes time here, too.

@Jypyä Pop: It looks a lot like spring here - there are cherry trees that are full in bloom, crocuses are blooming, but then it feels much like winter. Last night the temperature dropped below zero...

CElliottUK from Reading, United Kingdom

Yep, cold snap now, but all the bulbs are at least 6 weeks ahead of schedule, most odd

@CElliottUK: I just hope this cold snap is a snap and moves away soon!

Richard from Ellemford, United Kingdom

The Gorse is beginning to bloom here too, at least on the south facing, sheltered slopes.

@Richard: Isn't it great to see nature starting to wake up after the 'long and horrible' winter... :)

Oiva from Turku, Finland

Nice shot, haleja.

@Oiva: Thanks!

I'm eagerly waiting for the package! Hope it doesn't take too long to arrive... :)

Denny Jump Photo from Easton, PA, United States

SAme thing here, Ursulakatariina! No flowers but much much warmer on some days...and then some days it falls back to very cold...A very strange winter this has been here and it seems everywhere. These are beautiful flowers, Ursulakatariina! I recoignize their petals and stems but cannot think of the name...they almost look as though they should be in the lupine family even though they are yellow rather than purple..Just a beautiful shot my friend ;-)

@Denny Jump Photo: I think this is called gorse, but I remember hearing some other names for it too.
Thank you, Denny.

Sally from Glasgow, United Kingdom

we don't really have spring

1 Feb 2012 5:04pm

@Sally: You just have an endless autumn all year long... :)

The Mouse from Glasgow, United Kingdom

I'm afraid the second half of the month looks cold for us, don't know about you lot in the balmy south.
Nice shot but i fear many have peeked to early.

1 Feb 2012 7:19pm

@The Mouse: It seems to be getting colder here too...
I think quite many of the flowers I've seen recent days, are gone after next night - they just said in the news there's now 4 below zero and getting colder in Dublin...

Jeff from Pembroke Dock, Wales., United Kingdom

After breaking the ice on the bird baths this morning I know it's "WINTER !!!".

1 Feb 2012 7:23pm

@Jeff: Wow, then it has to be winter! :)

Karen Politte from United States

same here - just came home for lunch and noticed that our daffodils have BUDS on them! Not just that they're through the ground - but they actually have buds! Craziness.......nice pic though!!

@Karen Politte: Thank you, Karen!
