Ginger, the horse

Canon PowerShot SX30 IS 1/800 second F/4.5 ISO 80 23 mm

Nice to see you! I hope you enjoy seeing what I saw earlier.
Please, leave a comment so I know you have been here.

I got a colour spotlight, see it here.

Please read this.

Interesting how the sculpturer has used the grain in the rock to simulate hair

27 Feb 2011 8:10am

@CElliottUK: It's not actually made of rock - it's a metallic horse. It has been made of little pieces of metal welded together. It doesn't show very well in this picture, but maybe I'll show another picture of it tomorrow where the material shows a little better.

The Mouse from Glasgow, United Kingdom

Stone? Has celliotec not followed the other one? Good to see the council are spending money wisely during the recession. But it is lovely.

27 Feb 2011 9:39am

@The Mouse: Yeah, who cares about the holes on the streets when the money can be spent to the nice things like this!

Sally from Glasgow, United Kingdom

Sculpturer. Is that an actual word?

27 Feb 2011 11:16am

@Sally: Well. I'm not expert in English language but I think it is a real word. And if the sculptor was a woman, then it would be sculptress. Horrible words, but the Finnish word, kuvanveistäjä, is not much better.

Jypyä Pop from Finland

Siinä on koni menossa nenäll... tarkoitan turvalleen. Nämä uudet ovat molemmat mielenkiintoa herättäviä. Näyttää ainakin hetken olleen kaunis sääkin. Jippii jne

27 Feb 2011 4:27pm
