Viking

Posted by ursulakatariina (Ed, Sweden) on 2 May 2012 in Documentary & Street.

About a month ago I went for a Viking drive in Dublin with some of my work mates. This is the scary Viking who drove us around the city with his interesting Dukw.
Only yesterday I noticed I don't actually have any shots of the Dukw itself - that's something I'll have to correct on my next trip to Dublin...

It is very nice of you to come and see what I saw earlier - please, if you have time, leave a comment so I know you were here.
I take photos of things I see and want others to see too, sometimes they are good, sometimes not so good, but I enjoy going 'round with my camera and save the moments in time.

Sounds like a good excuse to get very drunk!

@CElliottUK: It was supposed to be a good excuse for getting drunk but then I ate something that made me feel really bad and I had to forget drinking...

Jypyä Pop from Turku, Finland

Dreary type once and for all. The blade is rather dull-looking, that is, for example, the neck cut-off takes a long time.

@Jypyä Pop: I was a bit affraid that he might have tried to cut someone's neck - it would have been really painful with that axe... Luckily he was very nice man. :)

The Mouse from Glasgow, United Kingdom

Quite the critic there Jypya pop!
Glad you had a covered seat, nice shot of "The Viking"

@The Mouse: Actually the passengers only get cover over them if it starts raining and the last 8 places are uncovered even when it rains! :)
Thank you.

Jeff from Pembroke Dock, Wales., United Kingdom

@Abraham Siloé: Your welcome.
Thank you!

Philnz from Thames, New Zealand

Sharp shot, not such a sharp Viking Axe

3 May 2012 1:41am

@Philnz: Yeah, his axe isn't very sharp and I think it's good it's not so sharp - it was scary enough as it is! :)

Curly from South Shields, United Kingdom

Heck............he looks dangerous!

3 May 2012 11:45am

@Curly: He did - for a while.
