Magpie

Posted by
ursulakatariina (Turku, Finland) on 25 March 2012 in Animal & Insect.

This one has been visiting us lately very often. Yesterday he was going to fly in the house, but for his luck he had eyes open and noticed the class between him and us before hitting it...

And you got the iridescence of the feathers so well. I've tried to get a picture of a magpie for years and years, and this is way better than I have ever done. Well done

Mr. Magpie fine so put themselves velvet .... Colors come out real well. Gorgeous bird is suffering from a little bad reputation for nothing. Well, after all, the experience of the ways

The Mouse from Glasgow, United Kingdom

Nice shot, they are a bit of a pest to us as they eye up the guinnea pigs.

@The Mouse: Wow, I hope your sweet little guinea pigs are safe from all the magpies of the world!

Christine from Ellemford, United Kingdom

Great shot but beware of them, clever and sly birds

@Christine: Thanks. They are really clever and one has to keep them on eye just to be sure they aren't planning something nasty. :)
