Jypyä Pop from Turku, FinlandAround here is on sunny days been great tit singing exercises, but otherwise is still well in the winter. In the courtyard are the guests of the blackbirds, which has sometimes been the voice, great tits, bluetits, bunting, and sometimes a greenfinch. 23 Feb 2012 5:40am @Jypyä Pop: We have very loud chirping going on day and night - it's amazing how loud voice comes out of such little birds. (I deleted the duplicate comment that was saved here from you.) CElliottUK from Reading, United KingdomThey seem to have done well this year, my garden has one too. Nicely seen and shot 23 Feb 2012 7:48am @CElliottUK: This one is the only I've seen for a quite long while... Richard from Ellemford, United KingdomThrushes are such beautiful birds, well captured 23 Feb 2012 7:56am @Richard: Thank you! Oiva from Turku, FinlandThrushes are beautiful birds, but the most beautiful voice is a blackbird, fieldfare has an ugly sound ,,haleja 23 Feb 2012 7:58am @Oiva: I like the song of a blackbird too, but maybe a nightingale or a starling is even more enjoyable to listen. Starlings always remind me of summernights in Finland. Curly from South Shields, United KingdomYou are better than me, at least you know which birds your shooting! 23 Feb 2012 9:31am @Curly: Hehe, many times if I do not know what bird I have in the picture, I may browse some pages to find out what it is - this is one quite good http://www.rspb.org.uk/wildlife/birdguide/ and if all the pages I check don't help then I just post the picture here and hope someone else knows and tells me too. :) The Mouse from Glasgow, United KingdomA really nice one, better to see than have! 23 Feb 2012 7:38pm @The Mouse: Thanks. :) @omid: Thank you! |
